It has layers of elegant aromas reminiscent of vanilla, butterscotch, and nuts, with a long-lasting taste of mimosa and apple. It pairs well with seafood, making it a perfect wine for Japanese cuisine.

Classification: Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC

Grape Variety: Verdicchio 100%

Tasting Notes: This wine is Bucci's special cuvée, made only in good vintages using grapes harvested from the oldest vineyards. Grapes are hand-picked, then fermented and aged in an underground cellar. A combination of stainless steel, old Slavonian oak barrels (50-75hl), and French oak barrels (40hl) are used. Aging takes a minimum of 18-24 months in French or old Slavonian oak barrels, which imparts a subtle rather than overpowering oak aroma to the wine, giving it a balanced flavor. It is produced using organic methods.

Winemaking Method: Grapes are hand-picked, then fermented and aged in an underground cellar. The wine is aged without the use of stainless steel, old Slavonian oak barrels (50-75hl), or French oak barrels (40hl). Aging typically lasts 3-6 months, followed by natural bottling for 6 to 9 months. Grapes harvested from four different vineyards with varying altitudes and orientations, all having clay-rich soil, are vinified separately. After soft pressing, only the first-pressed juice is used. Fermentation typically takes place in stainless steel tanks for 18-25 days using natural yeast. After aging for 3-6 months in 50-75hl Slavonian oak barrels, the wine is blended before bottling.

Pairing: Seafood dishes, pasta, soup, white meat dishes, sushi
