Product Details

The first vintage was 1981. It is a blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco, and Sauvignon harvested from the Terre Alte vineyards.

It is characterized by an elegant and sophisticated aroma with a complex blend of various elements, and a rich, deep flavor that is both fresh and full-bodied.

This is one of Italy's most prestigious white wines, having won the Tre Bicchieri many times.

Classification: Rosazzo DOCG

Grape varieties: Friulano 50%, Pinot Bianco 25%, Sauvignon 25%

Tasting notes: Vivid and brilliant straw yellow. The aroma is very complex and elegant, with gorgeous floral notes of orange blossom, gardenia, and jasmine, layered with citrus aromas of bergamot and orange peel, and ripe fruit nuances of white peach and apricot. The palate is supple and harmonious, with a rich volume and lively acidity coexisting beautifully. The long and impressive finish transitions from fruitiness to spice and a hint of saltiness.

Winemaking: Grapes are destemmed, then macerated for approximately 8 hours at 12-14°C before crushing. After soft pressing, the must is clarified by decantation. Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon undergo alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 18-19°C for 10 days, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging. Friulano is aged in small French oak barrels after alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. After 10 months, all wines are blended and aged in bottle for 9 months.

Pairing: Seafood dishes, vegetable risotto, white meat dishes, cheese, etc.
