The first vintage was 1981. It is a blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco, and Sauvignon harvested from the Terre Alte vineyards.
It features an elegant and sophisticated aroma with a complex mixture of various elements, and a rich, deep flavor that is both fresh and robust.
It has won the Tre Bicchieri award many times and is one of Italy's most prestigious white wines.

Tasting Notes: A vintage with a deep straw color, extremely attractive, with an aroma of strength, elegance, and complexity. Its superb character and power are at the forefront. It has aromas of tropical fruits, acacia blossoms, elderberry flowers, marjoram, lily, iris, hawthorn, citrus peel, vanilla sugar, saffron, ginger, cinnamon, and almond nuances. Full-bodied, with depth and layers of flavor, well-structured and harmonious. A rich, dry, soft yet vibrant wine. The captivating finish is opulent and rich, with notes of candied citrus, sage, and vanilla.
Winemaking: Grapes are destemmed, then macerated for approximately 8 hours at 12-14°C, followed by crushing. After soft pressing, the must is clarified by decantation. Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon undergo alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 18-19°C for 10 days, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging. Friulano is aged in small French oak barrels after alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. After 10 months, all wines are blended and aged in the bottle for 9 months.
