Product Details

The first vintage was 1981, a blend of Friulano, Pinot Bianco, and Sauvignon harvested from the Terre Alte vineyard.

It features an elegant and refined aroma with a complex blend of various elements, and a rich, deep flavor characterized by freshness and a firm body.

It is one of Italy's most prestigious white wines, having won the Tre Bicchieri many times.

Classification: Rosazzo DOCG

Grape Varieties: Friulano 50%, Pinot Bianco 25%, Sauvignon 25%

Tasting Notes: Pale greenish-straw color. The aroma is very complex and elegant, harmonious, with sweet nuances of yellow fruits reminiscent of yellow peaches, layered with acacia honey and delicate floral notes. The taste is rich and warm, with a full body and an elegant impression of structure. The complex finish, centered on fruit, lingers for a long time.

Winemaking Method: Grapes are destemmed, then macerated for approximately 8 hours at 12-14°C before crushing. After soft pressing, the must is clarified by decantation. Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon undergo alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 18-19°C for 10 days, followed by malolactic fermentation and aging. Friulano is fermented and aged in small French oak barrels after alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. After 10 months, all wines are blended and aged in bottle for 9 months.

Pairing: Seafood dishes, vegetable risotto, white meat dishes, cheese, etc.
