Product Details

This majestic Amarone is made from grapes harvested from the single vineyard of Mazzano in Negrar, with a history dating back to the 12th century. It boasts a dignified flavor profile, supported by a solid structure, produced using the traditional appassimento method.

Classification: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG

Varieties: Corvina 75%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara 5%

Tasting Notes: Deep, matte ruby red. Unique aromas of forest fruits and cinnamon. Powerful on the palate, with a well-balanced harmony of alcohol and rich flavors of ripe fruit and spices. The firm acidity and distinct tannins are exquisite, leading to a long, dry finish.

Winemaking Method: Grapes harvested in late September or early October are partially dried on bamboo racks in a drying room with large windows next to the Mazzano vineyard for 2 months. They are then aged for 45 days in Slavonian oak barrels and 36 months in Allier oak barrels.

Pairing: Excellent with red meat dishes, game such as quail, aged cheeses like Parmigiano and Pecorino, and also perfect as an after-dinner drink.
