Product Details

This wine is the realization of Giancarlo Travaglini's "dream" by his daughter, Cinzia, the current owner.

After harvest, the grapes are naturally dried for about 100 days. After 4 years of aging, it expresses its complex and harmonious flavors deeply.

Classification: Vino da uve stramature

Grape variety: Nebbiolo

Tasting Notes: The aroma begins with a concentrated fruity impression, revealing notes of confiture, dried flowers, plum, and grappa-soaked cherries. These perfectly harmonize with nuances of cocoa, licorice, vanilla, and oak barrels.
This is an elegant and well-defined wine, with the 2014 vintage particularly characterized by its freshness, long finish, and distinct acidity. The palate is well-structured yet smooth, with a long finish, accompanied by delicate balsamic nuances, leading to a finish supported by a tannic backbone.

Production Method: Ripe grapes are selected and gently pressed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks, and aging is primarily done in large Slavonian oak barrels for approximately 40 months. It is then aged for another 18 months in the bottle before release, resulting in rich flavors and classic characteristics.

Pairing: Meat dishes, stews, aged cheeses, bitter chocolate
