Product Details

This wine is the realization of Giancarlo Travaglini's "dream" by his daughter and current owner, Cinzia.

After harvest, the grapes are naturally dried for approximately 100 days. After 4 years of aging, it deeply expresses its complex and harmonious flavors.

Classification: Vino da uve stramature

Grape variety: Nebbiolo

Tasting comments: The aroma is very broad and intense, with clear fruit notes reminiscent of plum, cherry, and blackberry confiture. This then develops into aromas of dried fruit and licorice, accompanied by delicate spicy nuances and a faint hint of cinnamon. The taste fills the mouth with a variety of fruits, raisins, and soft, sweet vanilla notes. It is extremely concentrated and complex, with a soft, enveloping texture and rich body. The finish is concluded by a pleasant saltiness and a subtle touch of tannins.

Production method: Fully ripened grapes are selected and gently pressed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks, and aging is mainly carried out in large Slovenian oak barrels for about 40 months. It is then aged for another 18 months in the bottle before release, resulting in a rich and classic flavor.

Pairing: Meat dishes, stews, aged cheeses, bitter chocolate
