Product Details
This masterpiece is crafted from grapes harvested from the winery's own vineyards, with an average vine age of 10 to 55 years. After 12 months of aging in French and Austrian oak barrels of varying sizes, it results in a Chianti with supple tannins.
Classification: Chianti Classico DOCG
Grape Varieties: Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, Colorino
Tasting Notes: Intense aroma of ripe fruit, with depth and complexity. Full-bodied yet balanced with good acidity, offering a soft and well-rounded taste.
Winemaking Method: Harvest is done by hand between September 14th and October 5th. Fermentation uses native yeasts, and the cap is managed by punching down. Maceration lasts for 3 weeks, followed by 12 months of aging in French and Austrian oak barrels (ranging in size from 15hl to 25hl).
Pairing: Grilled meats, game dishes, rich cheeses
