Product Details

This legendary Lambrusco from Ceci, a symbol of this land near Parma, is a rich, luxurious red sparkling wine with a fine perlage.

Its deep ruby color and delicate bubbles fill the glass.

It pairs well with a variety of traditional dishes, including Italian cuisine, from appetizers with prosciutto and cheese to pasta dishes, and both red and white meats.

Classification: Emilia IGT

Grape varieties: Maestri 50%, Marani 50%

Tasting notes: Fresh and fruity bouquet with aromas of blackberry and plum.
It is a lightly sparkling red wine characterized by a soft, velvety smooth drinking experience.

Winemaking method: Martinotti (Charmat) method.
Grapes are soft-pressed, then macerated with the skins to extract maximum color and aroma, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
It is left from December to January to remove impurities and obtain a high-quality must. Secondary fermentation then takes place in the tank for 1 to 2 months until the desired temperature and pressure are reached.
At this time, sugars break down into ethyl alcohol and CO2, and the carbon dioxide dissolves into the wine without escaping, making it a sparkling wine.

Pairing: Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, roasted or stewed meat dishes
