Barolo Riserva 2004 - BORGOGNO 750ml x 1 bottle

A powerful wine with a deep garnet color. It's a Barolo suitable for long aging, with a lingering ethereal bouquet, dry and harmonious, with a velvety, full-bodied texture.

Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo

Tasting:Deep ruby color. Rich aromas of ripe plums and blackberries with hints of violet and tobacco. Smooth on the palate with firm tannins and bright acidity in harmony. Layers of spice and oak flavors, leading to a long finish with excellent aging potential.

Winemaking: Alcoholic fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures (23-25°) for approximately two weeks. Maceration is followed by three rackings. Matured for a minimum of 3 years in large Slavonian oak barrels (various sizes and ages, no new barrels are used). Lightly clarified and filtered, then bottled. Bottle aging for a minimum of two years thereafter.
