Product Details
Cella era vineyard is a relatively new vineyard planted about 15 years ago. It was planted with clones selected by the third-generation owners, Humberto Bella and Riccardo Bella.
Classification: Barbaresco DOCG
Grape variety: Nebbiolo
Tasting: A bright garnet red with orange reflections. Elegant and straightforward. Notes of violet and red fruit jam, along with spicy nuances of pepper, vanilla, and licorice. Elegant and well-balanced, with firm structure and tannins. The aromatic profile is beautifully reflected in the finish.
Production method: After destemming and pressing, it is fermented with the skins. The maceration period varies by vintage and lasts from 15 to 30 days. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for at least 10 to 11 months. It is then bottled in a controlled environment and aged for at least 8 months before release. The total aging period is at least 2 years, calculated from January 1 of the year following the harvest.
Pairing: Red meat, game, well-seasoned white meat, aged cheese
