Product Details

Ravaia is the name of a vineyard, one of the most historic and renowned vineyards in Barbaresco. It is located just south of the entrance to the village of Barbaresco. Its south-to-southwest-facing, amphitheater-like topography provides ideal sunlight conditions, allowing the Nebbiolo grapes to ripen fully. The calcareous clay soils produce wines with excellent structure, depth, and elegance, well-suited for long-term aging.

Classification: Barbaresco Riserva DOCG

Grape variety: Nebbiolo

Tasting: A vibrant, luminous ruby color with orange nuances. Elegant and complex, with ethereal aromas of violet, red fruit jam, and spices such as pepper and vanilla. Elegant and dry, well-balanced, with firm structure and tannins. A wine that conveys ample body, harmony, and great elegance.

Production: The grapes are harvested by hand in early October. Once transported to the winery, they are destemmed and crushed, then fermented for approximately two weeks. The wine is then aged for 24 months in large 2,550L casks.

Pairing: Ideal with red meat, game, aged cheese, or as a meditation wine
