商品詳細
This majestic Amarone is made from grapes harvested from the single vineyard of Mazzano in Negrar, which has a history dating back to the 12th century. It is made using the traditional Appassimento method, resulting in a dignified flavor supported by a firm structure.
Classification: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG
Grape varieties: Corvina 75%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara 5%
Tasting: Fermentation with yeast for 40 days. Aged for 3.5 years in large oak barrels. Deep, matte dark red with bright, still youthful edges. Powerful aromas of bitter cherry, cacao, and licorice. It has a strict and powerful taste where blueberry nuances join bitter almond and orange peel flavors. A long finish with intertwining bitterness and sweetness is characteristic.
Winemaking method: Grapes harvested at the end of September or beginning of October are air-dried on bamboo racks for two and a half months in a drying room with large windows next to the Mazzano vineyard. They are then aged for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels and Allier oak barrels for 45 days.
Pairing: Red meat dishes, game dishes such as quail, aged cheeses such as Parmigiano and Pecorino, also excellent as an after-dinner drink.
