Grape varieties: Sangiovese 80%, Canaiolo 15%, Ciliegiolo 5%

Tasting: Ruby red with violet reflections. Aromas of licorice and blackberry. A richly full-bodied wine with a very well-balanced taste of alcohol and tannins.

Winemaking:After harvesting, grapes are destemmed and macerated for several hours at 15°C. Fermentation takes place for 15 days in temperature-controlled tanks at 18-24°C, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 1 month. Aging occurs for 12 months in 600L French oak barrels (50% new, 25% second-use, 25% third-use). Minimum of 6 months bottle aging.
