商品詳細
Castelgiocondo is one of the four wineries that first began producing Brunello in the 1800s. In 1875, the Siena Committee, which managed the classification and identification of grapes, conducted the first documented Brunello tasting in history, tasting a 1843 vintage Castelgiocondo. The recorded alcohol content, pH, and other values were surprisingly almost identical to those of modern Brunello, a historical fact that speaks to the universality of this terroir. Brunello di Montalcino Castelgiocondo, produced by Frescobaldi, is made from the highest quality Sangiovese, resulting from uncompromising selection during the cultivation process. Made from grapes from strictly selected plots with ideal altitudes, well-drained soils, and southwest-facing slopes, all elements enable the wine to capture the best expression of this grape variety. It is an elegant, well-balanced wine with an overwhelmingly wonderful structure, fully expressing the great characteristics of Brunello di Montalcino.

The finish is long and elegant, a classic Brunello that authentically expresses the charm of Sangiovese.
