商品詳細
CastelGiocondo is one of the four wineries that first began producing Brunello in the 1800s. In 1875, the first documented Brunello tasting in history was conducted by the Siena Committee for the Classification and Identification of Grapes, and the 1843 vintage of CastelGiocondo was tasted. The alcohol content, pH, and other values recorded then are astonishingly almost identical to modern Brunello, a historical fact that speaks to the universality of this terroir. Brunello di Montalcino CastelGiocondo, produced by Frescobaldi, is a wine created from the highest quality Sangiovese, resulting from an uncompromising selection process during cultivation. Made from grapes from strictly selected plots with ideal vineyard elevation, well-drained soil, and south-west facing slopes, all elements enable the wine to capture the best expression of this grape variety. It is an elegant, well-balanced wine with magnificent structure, fully expressing the great characteristics of Brunello di Montalcino.
