商品詳細
CastelGiocondo is one of the four wineries that first began producing Brunello in the 1800s. In 1875, the first documented Brunello tasting in history was conducted by the Siena committee responsible for grape classification and identification, where a 1843 vintage CastelGiocondo was sampled. The alcohol content, pH, and other values recorded then are astonishingly almost identical to modern Brunello, a historical fact that speaks to the universality of this terroir. Brunello di Montalcino CastelGiocondo, produced by Frescobaldi, is a wine created using the highest quality Sangiovese, resulting from uncompromising selection during the cultivation process. Made from grapes from strictly selected plots with ideal vineyard elevation, well-drained soil, and southwest-facing slopes, every element allows for the fullest expression of this grape variety in the wine. It is an elegant and well-balanced wine with superb structure, fully expressing the great characteristics of Brunello di Montalcino.
