商品詳細
Fiano is a grape variety that has existed since ancient Roman times, given a Latin name to distinguish it from grape varieties of Greek origin. It is a vigorous grape that can grow even in the volcanic soil that accumulated during this period. There are several theories about its etymology: one suggests it comes from the name "apiane," a grape mentioned by Columella and Pliny; another attributes it to bees (Italian: "apa") attracted to the grape's sugar; a third theory links it to the apple variety "Appiana" from the Appio region; and a fourth proposes it derives from an ancient synonym in the Peloponnese. With its sweet aroma, approachable and pleasant taste, it is a representative white wine of the Campania region.
