This is a powerful wine with a deep garnet color. It is a dry, harmonious, velvety, full-bodied Barolo with a long, ethereal bouquet, suitable for long-term aging.

Tasting:The 2011 vintage features "excellent tannin quantity" and "good color," combined with the profound complexity from the "Riste vineyard" and the elegance and longevity unique to the "Cannubi vineyard."

Winemaking: Alcoholic fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures (23-25°C) for approximately two weeks. Maceration is followed by three rackings. It is aged for a minimum of three years in large Slavonian oak barrels (of various sizes and ages, no new barrels are used). Light fining and filtration are performed, followed by bottling. Bottle aging then lasts for a minimum of two years.
