商品詳細
The history of Etna is defined by the historic eruptions that have shaped it. The legendary eruption of 1614 was the longest on record, lasting 10 years and stopping just short of the Charanuova vineyards. The name of this wine comes from that Etna eruption. This wine is primarily made from Nerello Mascalese grapes, and the dark soil of the high altitudes creates an elegant, distinctive, and balanced flavor.
Classification: Sicilia DOC
Grape Varietal: Nerello Mascalese
Tasting Notes: Bright, brilliant ruby red. Deep and impressive aromas of herbs, hibiscus, and wild fennel. A magnificent mountain red wine born from Europe's largest active volcano, with compact tannins and an elegant texture that spreads pleasantly throughout the mouth. A lyrical wine with a beautifully lingering finish, featuring sweet notes of wild berries and currants, a rich aroma with a hint of beeswax, and a subtle salinity derived from minerals.
Production Method: After harvest (Oct 15-25), grapes are pressed and destemmed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25°C for 12 days. Pumping over is performed at least twice.
Pairing: Grilled vegetables, cured ham and salami, meat dishes, aged cheeses
