商品詳細

A single-vineyard Amarone made using traditional methods. Rich, spicy, and powerful flavor. Can be aged for over 20 years.

Rating: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG

Grape varieties: Corvina 70%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara 10% (Serego Alighieri clone / average vine age 33-38 years)

Tasting: A dignified and profound wine from the historic single vineyard considered the birthplace of Amarone. The concentrated fruit aromas of black cherry, ripe plum, and dried fruit are layered with notes of cacao, licorice, spice, and subtle herbs, creating a complex and deep aroma. On the palate, the richness of the fruit, firm acidity, and fine tannins are beautifully balanced, highlighting the excellent balance and elegance characteristic of the 2013 vintage. It exudes sophistication amidst its power, quietly conveying the fundamental charm of Amarone with a long finish.

Winemaking method:This wine is made using the traditional appassimento method (grape drying). Grapes carefully harvested at the end of September or beginning of October are dried on special bamboo racks in a well-ventilated room until early February. They are then gently pressed, and the semi-dried grapes are partially destemmed, then fermented in Slavonian oak. The wine continues to ferment until the sugar is completely converted to alcohol, after which malolactic fermentation takes place. It is aged for 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels (6-20 hl) and then for 4 months in cherry wood barrels.

Pairing:Red meat, game, cheeses such as Parmigiano, meditation wine.
