商品詳細
A single-vineyard Amarone made using traditional methods. Rich, spicy, and powerful. Can be aged for over 20 years.
Classification: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG
Grape varieties: Corvina 70%, Rondinella 20%, Molinara 10% (Serego Alighieri clone / average vine age 33-38 years)
Tasting: Aged for 48 days of fermentation, 3 years in oak barrels, and 4 months in cherry wood barrels. Deep crimson with high viscosity. Aromas of spirits-soaked fruits, cinnamon, and vanilla, with rich aromatics. Full-bodied with rich layers, the sweetness of baked fruits blends with coffee notes accompanied by almond and cocoa. Transitions from rich flavors to a soft, dry finish.
Winemaking Method:Wine made by the traditional appassimento method (drying of grapes). Grapes selected and harvested at the end of September or beginning of October are air-dried in well-ventilated rooms on special bamboo racks until early February. They are then carefully pressed, and the semi-dried grapes are partially destemmed into Slavonian oak barrels. The wine then ferments until the sugar is completely converted to alcohol, followed by malolactic fermentation. Aged for 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels (6-20 hl), then 4 months in cherry wood barrels.
Pairing:Red meat, game, cheeses such as Parmigiano, meditation wine
