Rialzi is the wine of the dream that the Frescobaldi family has long pursued.

It is made from Sangiovese from a single vineyard at Tenuta Perano, characterized by large, naturally formed terraced topography. The vineyard is located at an altitude of 650m facing southwest and features galestro and alberese soils containing quartz. The perfect combination of soil characteristics, altitude, and unique microclimate expresses a strong personality and exceptional elegance.

As the name Rialzi (resurrection) itself expresses, it is a Gran Selezione that embodies the Frescobaldi family's determination to always keep in mind the continuous effort towards the supreme art of wine.

Grape variety: 100% Sangiovese

Tasting: A rich and vibrant ruby red color, with a beautifully integrated bouquet of fruit and spice aromas, offering a well-balanced complexity. It reveals notes of mixed berries, sour cherry, violet, and spices, followed by hints of toast and juniper berries, truly showcasing the delicate structure of Sangiovese. On the palate, it is rich and uniquely deep, with soft, mellow tannins wonderfully integrated into a concentrated texture. The finish is beautifully long and complex.

Winemaking: Grapes are carefully cultivated and meticulously hand-picked. After being transported to the winery, they undergo a further careful and precise selection. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by maceration périculaire to maximize polyphenol extraction, with gentle pump-overs. It then matures for 24 months in new French oak barriques and for 12 months in the bottle.
