La Segreta takes its name from "La Segreta Woods" surrounding the Ulmo vineyard. It is made exclusively from Nero d'Avola grapes from Planeta's own vineyards, cultivated with passion for centuries and following sustainable and organic farming protocols. The label graphically incorporates a section of an 18th-century map of the region, emphasizing the family's deep roots and the region's long-standing traditions. This is an attractive wine with well-developed, rich aromas and flavors.

Grape Variety: 100% Nero d'Avola

Tasting Notes: A deep ruby red with striking purple tones. The typical aromas of Nero d'Avola are present, with ripe plum, cocoa, wild berries, and an inviting spiciness. On the palate, it offers rich and pleasing tannins.

Winemaking: Grapes are fermented for 12 days in temperature-controlled 150hl stainless steel tanks (fermentation temperature 25℃). Matured in stainless steel tanks.

Pairing: BBQ, as an everyday wine, Mediterranean pasta dishes, vegetables, and oily fish dishes.
