Tasting Notes: An Amarone with exceptional power and elegance, born from the single Mazzano vineyard, making it a particularly strong and prestigious wine within the Masi portfolio. It offers a rich and complex aroma of concentrated black cherry, prune, and dried fig, intertwined with notes of cocoa, licorice, spices, and a hint of smokiness. On the palate, it reveals a rich extract and firm tannins, reflecting the ripeness and depth characteristic of the 2011 vintage. This wine possesses a meticulous balance and a long finish, showcasing the majesty of Amarone and the unique character of the vineyard.

Winemaking method: Grapes harvested in late September or early October are dried on bamboo racks in a drying shed with large windows next to the Mazzano vineyard for 2 months. After that, they are aged for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels and Allier oak barrels.

Pairing: Red meat dishes, game dishes such as quail, aged cheeses such as Parmigiano and Pecorino, also excellent as an after-dinner drink.
