商品詳細

A unique wine produced in Rovena using international varieties (Pinot Grigio) harvested from our own vineyards in Friuli, and indigenous varieties (Verduzzo) that have been appassimento for three weeks. Only the Verduzzo is aged in barriques, resulting in a wine that is fresh yet rich in flavor.

Classification: Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC

Grape varieties: Pinot Grigio 85%, Verduzzo 15%

Tasting: Gentle flavors of pineapple, banana, areca palm flower, and peach. A rich wine with floral and fresh citrus notes and a long finish.

Winemaking method: Pinot Grigio is harvested in late August to enhance freshness and aroma, then immediately fermented (at 15-10°C for 25 days). Malolactic fermentation is stopped before completion. Verduzzo, on the other hand, is harvested in late September and left to appassimento (semi-dry) on racks for three weeks. After cold maceration (at 5°C for 36 hours), it is fermented in stainless steel tanks, then undergoes malolactic fermentation in barriques. The Pinot Grigio is aged in stainless steel tanks for three months, and the Verduzzo is aged in barriques for three months. They are then blended and bottled. Bottle aged for 45 days.

Pairing: As an aperitif, with appetizers, fish dishes, and white meat dishes.
