商品詳細
This series is the result of a collaboration between grapes harvested from the vineyards of Count Serego Alighieri, a descendant of Dante Alighieri, the father of the Italian language and a supreme poet, whose lineage spans over 650 years, and the expertise of Masi Agricola. It is a wine blended primarily with Corvina, along with Sangiovese and Molinara (Masi's own clone). It was aged for approximately 8-9 months in Slavonian oak barrels (25 hl) and for about 3 months in cherry wood barrels (600 L). It is a red wine characterized by pleasant acidity and soft tannins. "Possessioni" means "estates" or "holdings."
Classification: Rosso del Veronese IGT
Grape varieties: Corvina 70%, Sangiovese 16%, Molinara 14%
Tasting: Ruby red color. A concentrated, warm bouquet of blackberries. Rich flavors of cherry, red berries, and plum spread across the palate. It has a firm structure, a good balance of acidity and mellow tannins, and a long, enjoyable finish.
Winemaking: Each grape variety is fermented separately (at 24-26°C for approximately 15 days) and macerated in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days. Afterwards, it is transferred to Slavonian oak barrels (600L) for malolactic fermentation. This is followed by bâtonnage every two days for approximately 9 months, and finally aged in cherry wood barrels for 3-4 months.
Pairing: Red meat dishes, slightly aged cheeses
