商品詳細
Castelgiocondo is one of the four wineries that first started producing Brunello in the 1800s. In 1875, the first documented tasting of Brunello in history was conducted by the Siena Committee, which regulated the classification and identification of grapes, and a 1843 vintage Castelgiocondo was tasted. The recorded alcohol content, pH, and other values were, astonishingly, almost identical to modern Brunello, a historical fact that speaks to the universality of this terroir. Brunello di Montalcino Castelgiocondo, produced by Frescobaldi, is a wine created using the highest quality Sangiovese grapes, meticulously selected during the cultivation process. Made from grapes from strictly selected plots with ideal altitudes, well-drained soils, and south-west facing slopes, all elements enable the wine to capture the best expression of this grape variety. It is an elegant, well-balanced wine with magnificent structure, fully expressing the great characteristics of Brunello di Montalcino.
