商品詳細
Castelgiocondo is one of the four wineries that first started producing Brunello in the 1800s. In 1875, the first documented Brunello tasting in history was conducted by the Siena Committee for the classification and identification of grapes, where a 1843 vintage Castelgiocondo was tasted. Surprisingly, the recorded alcohol content and pH values were almost identical to those of modern Brunello, a historical fact that speaks to the universality of this terroir. Brunello di Montalcino Castelgiocondo, produced by Frescobaldi, is a wine made from the highest quality Sangiovese grapes, resulting from uncompromising selection during the cultivation process. Made from grapes from carefully selected parcels with ideal elevations, well-drained soils, and south-west facing slopes, every element allows the wine to capture the best expression of this grape variety. It is an elegant, well-balanced wine with superb structure, fully expressing the great characteristics of Brunello di Montalcino.
