商品詳細
The name Falanghina comes from "Falanga," a long wooden tool used in ancient viticulture to support the growth of vines. The first mention of this grape variety dates back to 1804, where Falanghina is described as a "delicious eating" grape. In the 1930s, it was recognized as one of Italy's finest grapes, and the cultivation of Falanghina was promoted in major wine-producing regions of Southern Italy, leading to widespread planting. It is the most beloved white wine in its native Campania, known for its vibrant acidity and freshness, and is also noted for its excellent compatibility with Japanese cuisine.
