商品詳細

When young, it has fruity aromas of pear and peach, as well as floral notes of acacia and hawthorn flowers. It also has a distinctive honey aroma. The palate is dry yet soft, with a good balance of alcohol and acidity, and a long finish.

The owner, Andrea Farinetti, calls "Derthona" the "Barolo of white wines."

The Timorasso grape can produce wines that can age for a long time, depending on the territory and winemaking style. When young, it is a powerful, full-bodied and very pleasant wine to drink. Long bottle aging patiently reveals complex flavors, balance, hidden power, and finesse.

Derthona expresses its characteristics after at least 5 years of bottle aging, so enjoying the evolving taste of this magnificent wine year after year is one of its exquisite pleasures.

Classification: Colli Tortonesi Timorasso DOCDerthona

Grape variety:100% Timorasso

Tasting:Vibrant and somewhat deep golden appearance. The aroma is complex and appealing, with fruity aromas of pear and white peach, delicate floral notes of acacia, and a sweet hint of honey. On the palate, it is dry, warm, and smooth, with a delicate balance between approximately 14% alcohol and high organic acids, giving it a rounded texture and solid structure. Rich fruit flavors are accompanied by minerality, and the finish is long-lasting, leaving a lasting impression of its complex flavors.

Winemaking method:Hand-picked grapes undergo cold maceration in stainless steel tanks for 3 days, followed by static decantation to separate the must. Fermentation then takes place in concrete tanks at 17°C for 25 days. After aging on lees in stainless steel tanks for 10 months, it undergoes bottle aging for 7 days.

Pairing:Pasta, fish dishes, white meat dishes
