This iconic wine represents Frescobaldi and is loved worldwide. From Chianti Rufina DOCG, known for producing high-quality wines at the highest altitudes within Chianti DOCG, this elegant and sophisticated masterpiece impresses with its lively minerality derived from the terroir and the cool, fine-grained tannins characteristic of Nipozzano.

Grape Varieties: Sangiovese, Malvasia Nera, Colorino, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: A rich ruby red color, reflecting a strong personality and elegance. Aromas of red fruits and ripe citrus, with a delicate fruitiness that lingers, transitioning into elegant violet notes. The bouquet is completed by a subtle hint of spice at the end. On the palate, there is an attractive, harmonious complexity, with dense tannins, a warm and smooth texture, and a rich, long finish.
Winemaking Method: After crushing and destemming, natural fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 25 days of maceration and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. At the end of the year, the wine is transferred to barriques for 24 months of aging, followed by 3 months of bottle aging after bottling.
Pairing: All meat dishes, pasta with tomato or meat sauce, beef stew, aged cheeses.
