Sauvignon was brought to Friuli from France during the Habsburg rule, and its cultivation became widespread in the 19th century.
It is a well-structured wine with elegant aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, yellow pepper, and tomato leaf.

Tasting notes: Straw yellow with green reflections. Elegant aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, yellow pepper, and tomato leaf. Well-structured and crisp on the palate. Good acidity balance with a pleasant, long finish.
Winemaking: Grapes are destemmed and undergo maceration and crushing for approximately 8 hours at 12-14°C. After soft pressing, the must is clarified by decantation. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 18-19°C for 10 days, followed by aging on lees for approximately 6 months. Minimum 2 months of bottle aging.
Pairing: As an aperitif, asparagus soup, creamed beans, marinated seafood, etc.
