商品詳細
The finest vineyards in the Valpolicella Classica region are located on the hills overlooking Lake Garda, which are called "Costasera" due to the beautiful sunsets they offer. From these vineyards, where the warm climate with long hours of sunshine and sunlight reflected from the lake creates ideal conditions, high-quality Amarone is produced.
Costasera, with its rich aroma of ripe fruit and robust structure, is said to be capable of long-term aging for 35 years.
Rating: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC, Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG (2010~)
Varieties: Corvina 70%, Rondinella 25%, Molinara 5%
Tasting Notes: As expected from a warm vintage, the fruit is highly mature, with an impressive sweet aroma of black cherry and ripe plum. The tannins are relatively soft, and the palate is smooth, making it an approachable style. This vintage can be enjoyed early while retaining the richness of Amarone.
Production Method: Grapes harvested from late September to early October are air-dried for one month on bamboo racks in a special drying shed with NASA (Natural Drying Augmentation System). Only Corvina grapes develop noble rot. After 45 days of natural cold fermentation (14℃) in large Slavonian oak barrels or stainless steel tanks, the wine is transferred to 30-40 hl barrels, where alcoholic and malolactic fermentation continue for another 35 days using alcohol-resistant yeast. 80% of the wine is aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels (40-80 hl), and 20% in small Allier and Slavonian oak barrels (600L, 40% new, 30% second-use, 30% third-use barrels). Minimum of 4 months of barrel aging.
