Gattinara Riserva "Vigna Ronchi" - TRAVAGLINI 750ml x 1 bottle (in wooden box)

Gattinara's prestigious winery, Travaglini, has released its first cru (single vineyard) wine, Gattinara Riserva "Vigna Ronchi." The 2019 vintage is its debut, and it is the first time the winery has directly expressed the characteristics of a single vineyard and single terroir. This wine was awarded the highest rating of Tre Bicchieri in "Gambero Rosso 2026."

Classification: Gattinara DOCG

Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo

Tasting notes: Intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, along with floral nuances, delicate spices, and minerality derived from volcanic soils. Elegant and well-balanced structure. Features velvety smooth tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, harmonious finish.

Winemaking: After fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for approximately 35 days, the wine is aged for approximately 48 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, and an additional 10 months for 10% of the wine in French oak barrels. It is then finished with 6 months in concrete tanks and 12 months in the bottle.

Pairing: Excellent with flavorful primi piatti like tagliolini al ragù and risotto, and red meat dishes such as roasts. Also an ideal match for aged cheeses, truffles, and porcini mushrooms.
